Regular City Council Meeting Minutes 

City of Porter 

July 5, 2022, 6:30 p.m. 

 

Mayor Don Verschelde called the meeting to order.  

 

Council members present were Kim Jelen, Donald Verschelde, Craig Peterson, Pat Vlaminck, and Judy Verschelde.  

 

Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the minutes of the June 6th, Regular City Council meeting.  Minutes were approved as read in a motion by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Craig Peterson. All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried. 

 

If the weather allows, the dump will be burned.  The city will look into options for maintaining the dump grounds.  The pond has been discharged and water samples taken. 

 

Affidavits for elections are available. 

 

417,000 gallons of water was used. 

 

A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded Craig Petersen, to pay the bills as read.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.
