Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting Minutes 

City of Porter 

April 13, 2021, 6:30 p.m. 

 

Mayor Donald Verschelde called the 2021 virtual meeting of the local board of appeal and equalization for the City of Porter to order. 

 

Council members present were Kim Jelen, Don Verschelde, Josh Sumption, Judy Verschelde, and Pat Vlaminck. 

 

Also present by GoToMeeting were Connie Erickson, Yellow Medicine County Auditor / Treasurer and Brian Rosenau, assessor for the City of Porter.   

 

Reviewed the Open Book format for 2021 & 2022 and discussed options to petition if the city decides to change it.  There was general discussion on sales in the City. 

 

A motion was made by Josh Sumption, seconded by Pat Vlaminck, to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.
