Stoks discussed the expenses of the Porter Fire Department in 2009.It was noted that a fire truck was purchased and the fire hall was
contract rates for 2010 were discussed.The City of Porter
is maintaining the cost per section at $125.

purchased a brand new pumper truck in 2010 at a cost of $175,000.The city received a USDA grant to cover $75,000, and financed the
remaining $100,000 with a 15 year USDA loan.

and rescue equipment.
