Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the minutes of the December 7, 2009 City Council meeting.
Minutes were approved as read in a
motion by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen. All were in favor with none
opposed, and the motion was carried.
Dybsetter presented preliminary fire contracts and preliminary fire
equipment assessment agreements to the council for changes or approval.Changes were discussed, and final versions were agreed upon.Eric Dybsetter will create a spreadsheet to track township payments
towards the equipment assessment.

Avenue.It was mentioned that tax abatement may be requested.

asked about having SMI make a safety grate and new access cover for the lift
station, to avoid an accident while taking water samples.The council authorized Larry to have such a cover built.
